Terms
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms cover the Homebody PDF browser extension, the unlock you can buy for it, and this website. They're an agreement between you and Operamatix LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we" or "us"). By installing the extension or buying the unlock, you agree to them.
The free saves and the unlock
You can save three times for free. After that, a one-time payment unlocks saving for good. The price is US$2.99, including any tax, unless checkout shows a different amount; checkout may show it in your local currency. There's no subscription, and nothing renews.
The unlock is a personal license for you to use the extension on your own documents, at home or at work, in the browsers where you use it. It isn't transferable. Please don't sell, share, or post your unlock code.
To buy, you must be old enough to make a contract where you live, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.
Payment and taxes
Purchases are sold through Link, a service run by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record. Stripe takes the payment, collects any sales tax, VAT, or GST, sends your receipt, and handles payment questions through Link support. Stripe's own terms apply to the payment. We never see your full card number.
Refunds
If the extension isn't right for you, for any reason, email us within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. You can also ask Link support, and Stripe may refund purchases under its own policies. After a refund, the unlock is no longer licensed. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of the country you live in.
Your documents
The extension works on your files only on your computer, and saving never changes the files you opened: it always saves new ones. Keep your originals until you've checked what you saved. You're responsible for having the right to change and share the documents you open with it.
What you may not do
- Get around the free-save limit or the unlock check, or help anyone else do so.
- Copy, modify, or redistribute the extension, except as the law allows.
- Use the extension to break the law or anyone else's rights.
Updates
We may update the extension to fix problems or improve it. Your browser installs updates automatically.
No warranty
Apart from the refund promise above, the extension and this website are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, documents, or profits. Our total liability for any claim related to the extension, the unlock, or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the unlock, or US$10 if you haven't paid. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Ending this agreement
You can stop at any time by removing the extension. If you break these terms, we may end your license, and the refund promise won't apply.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods doesn't apply. Any dispute will be decided by the state courts located in St. Lucie County, Florida, or the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and both of us consent to those courts' jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
If you're a consumer outside the United States, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in your local courts where those laws allow it.
Everything else
These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the extension. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't given it up. If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new date. Changes won't take away an unlock you've already paid for.
